Our Story

Our Story

We are Becky and Liz, breast cancer survivors of eight and ten years.  Our stories are different, but we have three things in common.  First, we both found the seat belt such a discomfort during those many trips to and from medical treatments.  Second, we share a desire to help make a difference in the lives of newly-diagnosed breast cancer patients.  Third, we want to be a part of raising breast cancer awareness and finding a cure.

For these reasons, we have developed our sisters4hope™ pink ribbon, memory foam seat belt cushion. After breast biopsy, lumpectomy, mastectomy, radiation therapy, and/or breast reconstruction, your chest area will be tender.  Our memory-foam pad velcros to the seat belt strap and distributes the pressure on the sensitive chest area. It additionally pulls the strap off the upper chest, reducing contact with the chemo port.

It is our hope that the seat belt cushion makes your experience just a bit  more comfortable. We will donate $1 per pad sold to a breast cancer charity with the hope that someday soon there will be a cure. Your purchase will make a difference and we appreciate your support!
